What is FlexArmor
Since 2005, Flex Armor has been the premier provider of sprayed RV roofs, offering a specialized solution tailored specifically for RVs. Our process is swift, with applications completed within three days. We aim to provide a permanent roofing solution that guarantees lasting satisfaction. Become part of our community of over 60,000 satisfied owners.
FlexArmor is crafted from a durable, leak-proof polyurea designed specifically for RV roofs. With a tear strength of 3500 psi, it is virtually impervious to punctures, snags, or tears. Moreover, its ability to elongate over 600% ensures exceptional flexibility, accommodating your RV’s movement through varying temperatures.
This innovative solution originated in a small town before spreading across the country. Remarkably, 90% of the certified applicators were initially customers; their enthusiasm was so great that they established their own businesses to promote the benefits to other RV enthusiasts.
In the nearly two decades of our operation, we have expanded to over 30 locations throughout the United States. We are always on the lookout for shops that align with our business philosophy to further our brand’s growth into a nationally recognized and respected name. Our dedication to responsible expansion has enabled us to guarantee that each location in our network delivers the same high-quality roofing we demand from our flagship store.
Written NO Leak Warranty
FlexArmor has undergone rigorous testing and development. In contrast to numerous roofing companies, we provide a written guarantee that any leaks will be repaired by any of our 30+ shops across the country.
With a FlexArmor roof, you’ll never need a full replacement. In the event of damage, only the impacted area requires repair. The process is seamless, ensuring the roof is restored to a leak-free state.
How is it Applied?
Sprayed On
Flex Armor is administered by trained technicians who utilize specialized industrial spraying equipment. The chemicals are heated to an exact temperature and is sustained throughout the application process through heated hoses, guaranteeing uniform quality and robust adhesion.
Applied Indoors
Repairing your roof indoors enables us to dedicate the necessary time to do the job correctly, irrespective of the weather conditions. We thoroughly remove all existing caulk from your roof, dismantle components like air conditioners and vents, and fix any damage to the underlying wood without concern for fluctuating weather.
Detailed Preparation
The majority of the time in the Flex Armor process is dedicated to preparation. The roof is stripped down to its essential elements to guarantee a clean and ready surface for the Flex Armor application. Specific procedures are adhered to for each material present on an RV roof, such as plastic, steel, aluminum, wood, rubber, and others. All loose roofing membranes are eliminated, and any compromised wood is restored.
What are the Advantages?
Super Thick
FlexArmor roofs has a thickness that is 3X greater than the standard options in the RV industry. This is made possible by FlexArmor’s rapid 6-second gel time, which dries to the touch, enabling application at a substantial thickness of 187 mils (3/16 inches). In contrast, common RV roofing materials like EPDM rubber, TPO, and fiberglass have a maximum thickness of just 30-60 mils. Additionally, a thicker roof offers the benefits of reduced noise and enhanced insulation in colder conditions.
No Caulking
Every RV, ranging from basic travel trailers to top of the line motor coaches, incorporates caulking. This caulking is used around each vent, sewer fixture, awning rail, and the transition strips at both the front and rear. Manufacturers typically do not provide long-term warranties, and wood damage can be extensive by the time a leak is detected. Our service removes all these caulked joints, offering you a seamless RV roof that needs no resealing.
Exclusive Product and Processes
At the time of Flex Armor’s introduction, few non-traditional alternatives for RV roof replacement existed, primarily consisting of simple coatings over the original roofs. Developed by a professional with extensive experience in the spray industry, Flex Armor’s processes stand out. Unlike RV repair technicians who later adopted similar methods, our system is built on profound knowledge of and experience with coatings, ensuring their effective functionality.
